Cambodia - A Brief Overview

Cambodia is struggling to heal from one of the worst genocides in modern history.

In the 1970s, the Khmer Rouge killed over 1.5 million men, women, and children (around 12% of the total population).

Faced with inconceivable poverty and desperation, Cambodia became a source, transit point, and destination for human trafficking.

The people of Cambodia are hungry for hope and healing.

Country Sponsor -

Why support? Why Cambodia? -

"I’m supporting RJ and Kayla because of the dedication of their hearts to this life-altering mission. People rarely find what they believe to be their purpose, even more rarely do those people drop everything in absolute pursuit of it. Sponsoring my friends was easy, but picking the country was even easier! When asked, Cambodia popped in my head and happened to be one of the countries they are going to. I’m so excited to see what they accomplish!" - Levi Shearon
